I would have to buy 4 "D" batteries every 3 to4 weeks.Got tired of buying them so I looked online and found one version on how to modify a battery powered swing into a plug into the wall outlet kind.I used an old calculator plug and robbed the connection that is in the back of the calculator,where it connects together.*JUST ADD UP THE VOLTS FROM YOUR BATTERIES AND FIND A DC PLUG-LIKE AN OLD CELL PHONE CHARGER WITHOUT GOING OVER IN VOLTS,IF YOU DO YOU COULD BURN UP THE MOTOR*THIS IS DC CURRENT AND WONT SHOCK* REMEMBER YOU ARE TRYING TO MATCH THE BATTERIES SAME VOLTS*THIS VOIDS WARRANTY AND USE AT YOUR OWN RISK*Hope this helps.
